Global Warming

"The sky is falling the sky is falling"...No wait..."The globe is warming the globe is warming".
The recent hot weather that has hit most of the country this past few weeks has brought out the global warming, greenhouse effects, killing mother nature freaks. I only have one thing to say.

Check your "blackberry, Blueberry or whatever else you use to hold you place in this world, or check an old fashioned calendar. You will discover one thing. One thing will jump right out at you

"IT'S SUMMER! IT'S JULY! It always gets hot this time of the year.

3 months from now we get to hear about the coming ice age.

There you are! Wondered where you were. Hope the new job is going well. Sounds like it's fun, at least as fun as work can be.

Loved your point of view - Don told me stock was down because it's been a mild summer so far and last winter was too - I told him that's okay with me; I'd rather have low stock and feel comfortable. Guess that's why I'm not in the financial world. But if you're right, and theyre all right, then maybe stock will go up....I love that it's finally feeling like summer here in the east. People are freaking out because it's hitting the 90's - for pete's sake, like you said, it's July! Sounds like I get to spend most of August in good ole Texas - that should cure me of any complaints about weather being too cool. By the time I get back from there I'll be ready for Pittsburgh snow.

You know, I like two seasons: Spring- because it's not TOO hot yet and Fall becasue it's not TOO cold yet. But it'd true....when it's hot we want winter and when it's cold we want summer. We are a never-satisfied society. :)

Daddy, you and the global warming epidemic! You are hysterical. Some people just need something to freak out about. Hugging trees is great and all, but you're right. Blaming hot weather on global warming, rather than the fact that it is the dead of summer is ridiculous! I bet global warming is responsible for the temperature of my apartment. I can't wait for that ice age!

Global warming statistics are based on 100 year old data...when they took the temp by wetting their finger and holding up in the wind. Tree hugging only gets you a face full of splinters.
